Cosmic Traveling is rare, but it happens. We are Energy, Built from Energy (RA).
There are reports of Pharaohs and Royal folk traversing the cosmos...for millions of years...in the Egyptian Book of the Dead. (The book is also called Going Forth by Day).
The Sumerian texts also discuss cosmic traveling experiences.
Carl Jung once travelled to the upper edge of the Earth's atmosphere, during an OBE/NDE but was made to go back down. Curiously, his doctor died that day, instead of him.
I normally would not talk of such experience, but since the Egyptians give precedence, I opened up here, for the first time. Today, a cold term called Remote Viewing is Used.

Cosmic Traveling is the ultimate OBE (out of body experience). IMO.
Years ago, I was staying in a hotel while attending a spiritual conference. I got bored and went up to my room. I decided to lay down on the bed and attempt an OBE, my target was just outside the hotel room window. Well, I went a bit further than that.
When I went out and came back, my conscious awareness had been out traversing galaxies. Truly Stunning.
Upon the return, I strangely hovered near the ceiling, because the body on the bed was not recognized, ...then...in an instant...ZOOM, I was back in. I was 25 yrs. of age and studying spirit works, as now.
Like the Egyptian folks, I had been gone...for a LONG, LONG TIME. Eons. A few days later, my sister gave me a present for my birthday. It was my first and most important DEJA VU. It was an image of two Energy Beings, traveling throughout the Cosmos. How did she know?
I had not said a word, out of an abundance of caution, to her or to anyone. Guess why. I have still never said a word to her, but she might read this post! Her present really cemented the dazzling experience, it's on my office wall right now, within reach.
Huston Smith, the founder of Comparative Religion, once reported he too had an OBE that lasted for EONS, while he was on LSD, which was his release factor, vs meditation.
Actor Bill Paxon (see image) unexpectedly died and returned later to PSI with his friends and family.

Great read Steven. I like your idea and agree with most of it... thanks for sharing your experience as a 25 yr old! Just one note though. "Modern science" might back this up in the future, yeah f**k the EGO but science is probably the best tool we have to try explain these spiritual phenomena. I believe in the connection between physics, consciousness and psychology. Explained with current advancement in the quantum world. If you are interested in the physics of consciousness I'd recommend any book from theoretical physicist, David Bohm;
